About

About Me:

I’m Dr. Katie Skoglun, and I’m thrilled to be back in the valley, serving the community that raised me. After exploring other cities during my education, nothing compares to seeing familiar faces in my hometown. In my spare time, I enjoy bouldering, walking with my partner, stopping to smell flowers, befriending stray cats, cuddling with my cat, Pepper, and getting lost in a good book.

My Education:

I graduated from Cashmere High School in 2017 with an A.A.S. from Wenatchee Valley College. I earned a B.S. in Kinesiology from Western Washington University in 2019 and a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the University of Western States in 2023 after three years of study and four board exams. In 2024, I became certified in the Webster Technique and offer safe, effective chiropractic care for pregnancy.

My Goal:

I first experienced the benefits of chiropractic in college after repeated climbing injuries from poor conditioning and recovery. The chiropractors I saw not only provided personalized, hands-on care but also taught me to listen to my body and make better decisions, reducing pain and improving performance. My goal is to be a provider who truly listens, understands your unique experiences, and delivers the best possible care.

My chiropractic training equips me to diagnose, manage, and treat a wide range of conditions, including neck and back pain, sciatica, carpal tunnel syndrome, nerve issues, headaches, dizziness, chronic pain, sports injuries, and extremity complaints like knee pain, ankle instability, and rotator cuff injuries.

As a chiropractor, I can order labs and imaging to aid in diagnosis and treatment and refer you to specialists when needed.

You will never be without support. If chiropractic care isn’t delivering the results you need, I will provide additional information and referrals to help you get the care that benefits you most.
